Personalised Physics Class Cake

Description

Made for Cake Friday in Physics. This was our last lesson before our practical exam, so despite the need to revise, I instead made this cake. I SADLY forgot to photograph the inside of this cake, which took me very very long. There were two layers, each layer in two rings and each ring into segments, with alternating Neopolitan (strawberry, vanilla, chocolate) flavours of cake. It even tasted good! (Always a relief to find out!)

Special contents of cake:
-A miniature slice of cake to represent Cake Friday, on blue paper towels, the medium on which all our Physics cake is served
-Brown opaque protractor: the department had ordered these to sell, only to find out they were opaque and hence fairly rubbish, and so our teacher handed us them as souveniors
-Lab jack (basically a height-adjustable compressed platform): we used one of these to aid an experiment once, and a friend David and I just thought it was so cool, and proclaimed that we would want them everywhere, e.g. under the bed
-McDonalds toy which plays annoying music by Chipmunk: my teacher collects McDonalds toys and this is one in his classroom, which has destroyed many opportunities of peaceful silence (I managed to find the toy on eBay and print the accurate panel to stick on)
-Webcam, wire, calculator, weights and measuring instruments are based on the ones we have in class
-Red folder and lined paper: we were all given a red folder at the beginning of the year, and so red is now the colour of Physics in my mind
-Suit blazer lying under the folder: our uniform was office wear
